Rev. Nanda Kumar earned his B.Th. and B.D. from K.T.C. Mangalore, in 2001 and 2004 respectively; and an M.Th. from Gurukul, Chennai, in 2011.

He has served the Church as a pastor at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Kamagere, and Bethel Lutheran Church, Kollegal (2001-2003); at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Kamagere, Bethel Lutheran Church, Kollegal, Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Bangalore, and Christ the King Lutheran Church, Mysore – all Kannada Churches of Karnataka Circle, Ambur Synod (2004-2009). He has served as faculty of CTSN since 2011.

Rev. Nanda Kumar is married, and has two sons.

Rev. Nanda Kumar has translated extensively into the Kannada language, including Sunday School materials and Syllabus, ‘The Multifaceted Martin Luther’, ‘The Lutheran Agenda’ and other works.

He founded the Kannada monthly magazine, Divya Belaku (‘Divine Light’), and was its Chief Editor for three years.
